Description
The TracStar 630i fuses 8″ IPS through 24″ OD. The self-contained machine eliminates the need for a separate power source on the job site. An onboard generator powers the heater while powerful hydraulics assist all fusion functions, including the operation of the jaws, pipe lifts, and facer. Some other new features of the TracStar 630i include:
- Hydraulic pivoting heater and face with collision avoidance sensors to prevent damage
- Wireless remote control ensures a safe efficient working environment and precise machine placement
- Integrated Datalogger tablet that records the entire fusion process
- FusionGuide Control System allows operators to choose their preferred level of software interaction while guiding them through the fusion process
- Centerline Guidance System for equal distribution of force around the joint
- CAN BUS system and touchscreen allow better machine diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Electronic keypads and paddles provide better control
- Redesigned cowling allows for the fusion of tees and fittings without carriage removal
- Stage V- and Stage IIIA- compliant Perkins engine meets environmental requirements, generating less noise, and offering greater torque for load response
- Removable 3- or 4-jaw carriage for in-ditch use
- Hydraulic hardlines replace hydraulic hoses for reduced leak points
